I was recently asked about how to go about studying anatomy.  Keep in mind that anatomy is like icing on a cake.  The underlying shape and form must be defined before you can start throwing it in there.  lol I'll be going over this base anatomy in the cliff notes.  That being said, the best way to study anatomy ( I think ) is to study function.  If you understand interlocking forms, guess what? You know how to draw, arms, legs and the torso.  If you understand stacking forms you now have the tools to draw intricate areas like the armpit, hips, arms reaching side view etc. There's a few things I think about when I incorporate anatomy.

Why It Doesn't Suck: First off, the whole premise brilliantly takes the Beauty Equals Goodness trope and completely turns it on its head.  Aside from that, it just about subverts every wolf comic trope there is.  Sleek, beautiful, romantic icons these guys ain't.  There is no prophecy, no aesop about man being evil, and probably above all, no romanticizing what it means to be a hunter.  The pack has almost no petty squabbling, puts up with each other
